The Weekend Is No Excuse In My Book

Its FRIDAY, and for me that doesn’t mean I get to let go of the values I have learned to love and make part of my everyday…. Unless I would like to hop on the scale bright Monday morning disappointed in myself. I try my hardest to make sure that I keep on track, and not let simple pleasure get in my way. Instead I have learned to workout around them and make healthy alternatives to almost everything I do. So that I get to continue living the life I have learned to love and embrace!

I started my morning off with breaking up my errands and schedule into mini checklists..

I make sure to stay organized even with my workouts and meals that way it creates a flow through out my day and helps me make sure I don't forget anything...

Most of my workouts are either outdoors or done at home. I didn’t have the means to use a gym through this process but made sure that wouldn’t fall under an excuse to why I couldn’t wake up earlier or rearrange my day and get a workout. Today I had pre-planned to do a workout that focused on these target areas: butt, legs, arms and my core…

faveworkoutsI  found this workout on Women’s Health Magazine’s online website. I was so excited to try this. And let me mention that I am still feeling the burn….. to spice things up I switched it up today, normally I start off with a run and then do my strength training at night. If you would like detailed instructions on how to perform this workout routine click the image link below:

I followed my workout with a power packed breakfast that would fuel me throughout the day… I know that I have so many things to get done today so I planned ahead… I lightly grilled some veggies and egg whites using a grapeseed oil cooking spray which contains zero calories!
