Are you ready?
I keep asking myself, if I am ready for summer… and frankly, I am not. BUT the great part is, I can be! I need to reorganize, recalculate and refocus on new goals, new routines and new fun recipes to try. The best thing to do if you’ve been on this roller coaster for a while like myself is to change it up… If I don’t change it up every few months, I find myself falling off track. Its easy to get unmotivated; Life is hard and is constantly throwing us curve balls… and learning to turn to healthier activities instead of food for comfort can be tricky. It took a lifetime to learn these bad habits.. Its going to take the same amount of time to learn better ones. But in the mean time repeat my mantra : “consistency is key…just don’t give up”.
Good News its only the second week of February and you still have months, days and hours before summer is here.. don’t beat yourself up. If you have made a few mistakes or even regained a few pounds, it’s going to be ok! This is a LIFESTYLE and we will be working on it for the rest of our lives. So make that U-turn..grab a bottled water and an apple and restart your day, week, and month!
