If you follow me on instagram then you know I am currently on a cleanse with my bestie Britttanymicheleblog. I will posting the recipes and info on our cleanse after the weekend, that way I can also tell you all about my experience during and post cleanse.
Well the best way to get through a juicing cleanse in my opinion is to enjoy cooking for others, No need to stay clear of the kitchen. How realistic is avoiding food and life anyway? If you can’t hold enough discipline to commit to what you want, then you will never know what you are capable of achieving.
So this week I made my family a really fun breakfast. Breakfast is, in my opinion one of the most important meals of the day. It’s going to decide how my day rolls. If I start with something satisfying and filling, I am able to focus and have all the energy required to get through my day.
Vegan French Toast
- 3 bananas
- 3/4 cup soy milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tsp gluten free vanilla
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- Bread of Choice
- Vegan Whipped Cream (you can make your own homemade version or else try this vegan friendly one Soyatoo)
- Vegan Margarine
Blend bananas, soy milk, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla in blender. Pour mixture in a wide mouth bowl (big enough to dip your bread into the batter) Take your bread slice and gently coat both sides. Fry in Vegan Margarine on your skillet or grill until golden brown. Serve as desired.
My son topped his with Whipped cream, strawberries, a mix of dark chocolate and agave nectar and cinnamon…
