Just Keep Swimming

I had a pretty good week, went strong everyday! and as my week comes to an end my good ol’ RA (rheumatoid Arthritis) kicked in and I had a major flare up.. so the best I could do was get in some good water aerobics, and conditioning. I want to start going out into the ocean and getting some real miles behind me. But I know I will have to get some good conditioning down in a pool first. And water is a great way to get a workout in because its easier on your body, especially your joints. We are so much lighter in the water. I firmly believe in going strong but as strong as I can each day.

Your closer than you were yesterday

To add to my day I choose to give in to an indulgence PIZZA! who can deny pizza? not me. So I went for a gluten-free, cheese-less vegan pizza with bell peppers and onions.. MMMMM, MMMMM, MMMMM is all I can say about that!. Now I prefer gluten-free as a personal preference. I do not have a gluten intolerance that I know of or celiac disease. But going gluten-free isn’t for every one. Sometimes if you aren’t careful you can gain weight if you try to go gluten-free… not because of the gluten-free product but because of what you’re placing with it.  When food products are gluten-free they tend to be higher in calories, so just be careful. Gluten is a special type of protein that allows the elasticity intact in foods during the fermentation phase of food production. Pretty much allowing the company to put less of the product and more of the gluten to make more product… if that makes sense..  Bistro MD says

I also felt like having something other than water, especially after spending hours in water… so I went for one of my favorite flavored drinks.
