Summer Don’t Ever Leave Me

Summer has been so amazing, and truly been a motivating one for myself! I am down another 3 lbs! I was worried that swimming may not be enough of a work out but it definitely has been!

So far my workouts consist of:

  • swimming,
  • yoga,
  • Pilates,
  • spinning,
  • hand weights,
  • my stability ball
  • running
  • walking

They have all been such a great way to just live life and keep moving…

I was afraid, when it  first came to attending the classes at my gym. I can tend to be shy at first and and easily embarrassed… and when you are new to something or maybe not even that great at it. It can be scary. You don’t want to interrupt the class or pointed out for your lack of skill. But you can not get better until you try and practice… Practice makes perfect! so just do it!! I have done my best at being committed as often and as much as I can.. If I wake up late and miss a class then I just make sure I do something active in my day. I’ve had a few cheat days and have had alcohol.  But I have not given up.

My Current Food List:

  • medjool dates
  • ezekiel low sodium bread
  • brown rice
  • quinoa
  • couscous
  • seaweed
  • ACV – apple cider vinegar
  • coconut water
  • Nuts
  • herbs

Swimming has been so rewarding that I am beginning to take it very seriously! I found some great links to swimming clubs around my area and can not wait to get better at it. I also need to invest in a good cap and goggles and a good athletic suit that will make swimming more comfortable. In the mean time I have been borrowing my 8 year old son’s haha. Got to see a friend I haven’t seen since last year and it was so exciting, She’s such a beautiful person inside and out!! seeing her is always such a pleasure! she’s such a beauty!!
