And First Position…..

Well today was my second Barre Class. And honestly the last time I took it I said the same thing!!

This is honestly the best workout I have ever had

and it’s true without a doubt!! I felt sore not a day later but hours later… I used muscles I didn’t know existed. And nothing like having a ballet teacher lift your leg higher, and straighter, your shoulders down and your back straight… Seriously these amazing teachers mean business. Ballerina’s and dancers have some of the most incredible bodies I have ever seen.. In my opinion. And barre is a mix of ballet and Pilates, If you are interested I have written a previous blog post about it 🙂 including my first experience… (click to read) also check out their website for classes and more info! Xtend Barre By The Sea… I love that they are offering a few morning classes. It’s the only me time I truly get before my day starts and nothing better than summer time and having at least til 9 am before any one is awake. I can take a walk after my workouts or even stop for some coffee..

Another big help is being organized and prepped.. otherwise you end up with the day I had yesterday and not only did I feel scattered but end up cheating and eating quick and fatty… so organization is key!!!! I love my Victoria Secret Planner, specifically because it gives me a blank page after a few days for journal writing. I can write what helped me or how I felt or why I craved something etc. Anything that might be useful later..  AND my new Bella TOESOX purchased in class today..   Love Love Love!!!

And since I was able to attend that early morning class I juiced for my day and prepped some Coconut Chia Mango & Nectarine Pudding for the next few weeks!!

Green Power Juice:

  • 2 pears
  • 2 apples
  • 6 celery stalks
  • 1/2 ginger root
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 large bunch of broccoli
  •  1/2 honey dew melon

***Now remember this is juiced and not a smoothie….***

Coconut, Mango & Nectarine Chia Seed Pudding

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seed
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1/2 nectarine
  • 2 packets of stevia (replacement for sugar)

MMMM Can’t wait to enjoy it! This week sure has been a crazy one but with better preparation and confidence I know it will be successful!
