Why you want to make and drink this juice:
For one, you use a whole sweet potato… One of my favorite reasons to incorporate sweet potatoes in my recipes is that sweet potatoes are high in vitamin C.
So besides Vitamin C helping you ward off the flu, and helping our bones and teeth. It helps accelerate wound healing and It produces collagen. Collagen is the elasticity in our skin and keeps our skin looking young and firm…
So along with all of those toning exercises and workouts, Sweet Potatoes are a must.
It also contains high amounts of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is also a hormone, and when we aren’t getting adequate sunlight, we can begin to get low, slow and very unmotivated. Vitamin D keeps our spirits high and helps our immune system & digestive system, Sweet potatoes might have just what you need to get those energy levels pumping!
Cucumbers are another favorite because they have a crucial vitamin that actually help keep us alive. Vitamin K helps our blood coagulate and clot. Which prevents us from bleeding to death, helps keep us from having bleeding gums and from frequent nose bleeds. It also supports good bone health….
Celery is one of those veggies that I feel gets overlooked. Celery has recently been found to have eight families of cancer fighting families, it can help lower cholesterol, University of Chicago reports that consuming two stalks of celery a day can lower your cholesterol levels by 7 points. Celery when juiced can aid as a natural laxative, and relax your nerves that can be over used by over the counter laxatives. Also helps reduce the retention of water and works as a diuretic. Celery has been known to also aid as an anti inflammatory which can be caused by Rheumatoid Arthirtis, osteoporosis, asthma and so on.
